MedEdicus CE/CME Symposium: Case Discussions in Parenteral Nutrition: Improving Outcomes for Patients in 2021 and Beyond

6:00 PM – 7:30 PM ET

The provision of appropriate parenteral nutrition (PN) is complex for hospitalized critically ill and surgical patients and those dependent on PN at home. The ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) pandemic has further complicated PN care for these patients.  In a lively case-based discussion, faculty will provide evidence-based practical approaches on how clinicians can apply the latest advances in PN lipids to improve outcomes in hospitalized and home-care patients. Tune in, learn, ask questions, and earn credit! Complimentary CE/CME.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  2. Compare the effects of various ILEs on liver function parameters and risk of developing intestinal failure–associated liver disease
