March 2014: A.S.P.E.N. Parenteral Nutrition Safety Series and Certificate of Training Program
In response to these recently released recommendations,
A.S.P.E.N. has developed a training series to educate all members of the
healthcare team who work with PN to optimize your knowledge base of safe PN
training series will be in a webinar format and consist of four interwoven
parts. As a participant in the training
series you have the option to participate in one or all parts, however to
receive the Certificate of Training in Parenteral Nutrition Safety, you must
participate in all four parts and claim continuing education credit. Additionally, because of the complexities
associated with PN safety, A.S.P.E.N. recommends participation in the entire
series for all members of the healthcare team involved in providing PN to
patients in all settings.
