General Questions:

  • I am speaking at CNW, and my spouse/guest would like to attend my session. Is this OK? Does my spouse/guest need a badge?
    • YES, your spouse/guest may attend the session and is required to wear a guest badge, which can be picked up onsite at the registration desk.

  • Which registration types include credits or a certificate of attendance?
    • All full conference registrants and pre-conference registrants are eligible to receive a certificate of attendance or continuing education credit. Exhibit personnel badges, guest badges or press passes do not include certificates or credits.

  • Do students, interns or residents receive a discounted registration rate?
    • Full time students and new practitioners within two years of receiving their license receive a discounted rate. Proof of student status or licensure date, in the form of a letter from your department head, copy of your semester schedule or copy of your license, is required with your printed registration form in order to receive the discount. If you submit your registration without the required documentation you will be charged the full rate to attend.

  • Do I have to be a member of A.S.P.E.N. to attend CNW?
    • No, you don't have to be a member. Those who are not A.S.P.E.N. members or are members of any of the participating organizations are welcome to attend. Significant registration discounts are available to members of A.S.P.E.N.

  • Can I cancel my registration and receive a full refund?
    • All cancellation requests must be received in writing. You may cancel your registration until the final preregistration date and receive a full refund less a $90 processing fee for main conference cancellation and a $25 processing fee for pre-conference session cancellation. Meeting no-shows and cancellation requests received after the final preregistration deadline are not eligible for a refund.

  • Does A.S.P.E.N. accept electronic wire transfers as a form of payment?
    • Yes, please contact our office to receive the information necessary to process the transfer. Please note, a $25 processing fee must be added to the final total.

  • Does A.S.P.E.N. offer "team" discounts?
    • No, meeting registrations are individual basis only.

  • How do I find a roommate for the meeting?
    • A.S.P.E.N. offers a referral process where we will share your name and contact information with others seeking a roommate for the meeting. Simply email your name, arrival/departure dates, and smoking preference to our office and the names of others seeking a roommate will be sent to you. Please note, you are responsible for making contact with other individuals and setting up your own hotel reservations.

  • How do I receive an international letter of invitation?
    • To receive an invitation letter you must first be a paid registrant. Once you have registered email or call our office (301.587.6315) and we will send you a letter of invitation (email, fax or mail).

  • How do I receive an international certificate of attendance?
    • Certificates of attendance will be available to all international attendees who complete the full conference survey available at the onsite CE Pavilion

  • Will I receive printed handouts for sessions?
    • To reduce the amount of paper and be more environmentally responsible, neither handouts nor a conference book will not be available. Instead an eLearning Journal will be available in early January on the CNW website so that attendees may preview sessions and print out learning objectives, outlines, test your knowledge questions and references. Please note that all Full Conference attendees receive a one year subscription to the CNW Online Library to view, download and print handouts submitted by session leaders as well as listen to the digital recording of sessions.
