Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change my registration type?

Yes, if you've registered for the in-person conference, you can change your registration to the virtual conference with a full refund of the difference in registration price until March 10, 2022. A $25 fee will be charged after March 10. If you would like to change from a virtual registration to in-person, you will be responsible for paying any difference in cost. Please contact ASPEN if you would like to change your registration type.

How many continuing education credits can I receive for attending the ASPEN 2019 Nutrition Science & Practice Conference?

Participation in the full conference allows an individual to claim up to 19 contact hours. Participation in the virtual conference allows an individual to claim up to 19 contact hours. Participation in pre-conference courses allows an individual to claim up to 4–8 contact hours depending on the course.

Will I receive printed handouts for sessions?

To reduce the amount of paper and be more environmentally responsible, printed handouts and printed conference syllabi will not be available in Seattle. Session outlines and information as submitted by the speakers will be available in early March in ASPEN's eLearning Center to enable attendees to preview sessions and print out learning objectives, outlines, test your knowledge questions and references.
