In Person

Cardinal Health will host a compelling discussion at ASPEN24 in the Innovations Theater with two internationally renowned registered dietitians addressing the science and practice of providing nutrition care to long-term enteral nutrition patients. The home enteral nutrition clinician needs a variety of tools to guide long-term enteral nutrition patients, creativity and an innovative approach in the way they provide nutrition intervention often having limited resources in client homes. Several key areas will be addressed including nutrition assessment without relying on labs and measurements, patients with a feeding tube participating in sports, and understanding basic aspects of “daily life” that are impacted by living with a feeding tube. The faculty will weigh the pros and cons of various hot topics like: Blenderized Tube Feeding formulas, continuous vs. bolus feeds, and nocturnal vs. daytime cycles to name a few.
