Managing the placement, care and monitoring of long-term enteral access devices can be challenging given the complexities of these processes. Clinicians often have limited experiences in the important aspects of enteral access devices. This session will address knowledge gaps through hands-on demonstrations of various devices and placement methods, discussions of device care and management, and the presentation of methods to minimize complications.

- Describe placement methods for both standard and low profile gastrostomy and jejunostomy tubes
- Outline management and routine care of standard and low profile gastrostomy and jejunostomy tubes
