A.S.P.E.N.’s Clinical Nutrition Webinars Deliver Convenient Online Education  

  

May 17, 2011, Silver Spring, MD –The American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (A.S.P.E.N.) announced the dates and topics for its June, July and August Clinical Nutrition Webinars. Each 90-minute webinar is led by distinguished faculty from all over the world.  Topics reflect current research and issues in clinical nutrition and metabolism. 

  

June 8, 2011 -- Managing Hyperglycemia from Admission to Discharge: Glycemic Treatment of the Non Critical Care Patient, 4:00 - 5:30 pm ET. Speakers will identify key outcomes and glycemic targets for patients in the non critical care setting, discuss how to create optimal treatment strategies for safe management of hyperglycemia in the non-critical care setting, and explore how to develop effective discharge strategies for the patient receiving specialized nutrition support.
