Tailoring the Compendium to meet your needs
Do you need a thorough training tool for students, interns or residents? Need to brush up on your nutrition support therapy skills? Are you a new practitioner? Are you preparing for certification exams? With forty-seven lectures divided into seven main categories, the Compendium can function in all of these roles and more.
You can customize the Compendium to meet a variety of learning and teaching needs. Here are some ideas: if you are training residents in enteral and parenteral nutrition you can use the two sections dedicated to both enteral and parenteral nutrition. If you are training nurses in the administration of nutrition support, there are lectures on IV access, line and tube placement, medication administration, and complications of both enteral and parenteral nutrition. If you are teaching a semester course in nutrition support or directing an internship or residency program with an emphasis in nutrition, the Compendium can be incorporated into any syllabus.
