Marleece Barber M.D. is a Medical Director for Lockheed Martin Corporation where she oversees the occupational health and wellness programs for the over 15,000 employees of the Space Systems Division. Dr. Barber's goal is to improve the health of the employees through a combination of preventive medicine approaches and robust wellness activities. Her practice of nutrition in this environment ranges from setting up weight loss support teams in the workplace, individualized dietary consultation, and lectures on how employees with diabetes and hypertension can improve their diseases with proper nutrition. She also has extensive experience with designing exercise programs to help a range of employees meet their fitness and health goals.

Dr. Barber attended the University of Rochester School of medicine and completed residency training at Tulane University School of Medicine. She is board certified in internal medicine.

Believing that obesity has a hugely negative impact on work productivity, Dr. Barber is an advocate of employers doing more to address this healthcare crisis.

Dr. Barber is available for lectures and seminars on weight management and achieving optimal health through nutrition.
